Paige and Brian - Fall Engagement at Starved Rock

I am majorly delayed in this post (like… a month delayed).  But I knew I absolutely HAD to share this engagement session with you all because it was SUCH A BLAST!!!!!!!!

I met up with Paige and Brian to discuss their 2018 wedding and knew instantly they were a couple I wanted to work with.  They are fun-loving, caring individuals whose genuine joy cannot be darkened by anyone or anything around them.  I asked what kind of photos they wanted to capture, and the words they stuck out to me were GENUINE and ADVENTUROUS – what more could you want??? 

Having an engagement session can sometimes be intimidating, but these guys ROCKED IT.  I literally just stood by as they laughed and loved on each other (and silently cried to myself because it was so adorable).  It was an hour of pure happiness that I got to get a glimpse of, and I honestly feel blessed that I get the honor of photographing their wedding in the future.

Plus.  I know Illinois has a bad rep at first glance for cool spots to explore.  But Starved Rock is a place you have to go to.  More than once.  Also, bring a camera.  After starting in a sea of hanging leaves, we got to explore some really beautiful caves that I just wanted to stay in (except for the possibility of bugs… because, honestly, I can’t handle them….).  Thank you to Paige and Brian for being so up for climbing and trudging through the leaves and caves with me 😊
