Karis and Johnathon -Denver Colorado Winter Couples Photography Session
This session will go down in history as one of my favorites of ALL TIME. Spending a winter (in the middle of fall!) afternoon with Karis and Johnathon at their couples photography session at Mount Falcon in Indian Hills, Colorado, was nothing short of a fairytale sort of day.
Karis was one of my roommates after I graduated college, and I am not exaggerating when I say that she is the most kind, intentional, thoughtful person I have EVER. MET. When she texted me about Johnathon and how they were soon to be engaged (and MARRIED!) and wanted me to be part of documenting it all, I was BEYOND HONORED.
They were spending their honeymoon in Colorado, so we coordinated and planned for some beautiful fall, mountaintop photos. As we drove to the top of the mountain, however, we saw that things looked a little different than planned. Everything was covered in ice (like Narnia)… and it was beautiful.
Karis and Johnathon were both shocked and in awe though - Karis had dreamed of a fall wedding and Johnathon a winter wedding, so they got the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! Thank you, God, for making these small desires a reality :)
And thank you Karis and Johnathon, for being GREAT SPORTS in the freezing cold and overall just amazing people.
