What I have noticed in all of the weddings that I have photographed is that guests thoroughly ENJOY when the couple puts the time and thought behind planning to put their personal and unique touch into their wedding day…

Choosing between doing a first look vs not is sometimes a really hard decision for couples to make.  Both have their sets of pros and cons, and it’s hard to know what to choose if you haven’t experienced it before!!!  

Hey friends!  So this post is a little different than usual :)  After making the huge decision of moving across the U.S. (and bringing my photography business with me), I decided I wanted to make a post of what I’ve tried and learned throughout this crazy process.

Have a winter engagement session planned and are watching the temperatures drop… and drop… and drop??!! Don’t worry, I have BEEN there.  One of my first engagement sessions was in November (not a normal winter month)... and the wind chill was -20 degrees.

Hello friends, and happy February! It’s finally starting to get cold and snowy here in the Denver area, so I can’t wait for more snow sessions! That being said, I recently had the most AMAZING January session with Jef and Lexi at Lookout Mountain close to Denver - and it was almost 70 DEGREES OUTSIDE!
