For my first session of 2020, I got the HUGE honor of getting to do a very special session with Josh and Ashley. I’ve known these two for many years, as Josh’s younger sister was my college roommate and is still one of my closest friends. They are both the most wonderful people, so full of joy and love towards each other it’s absolutely contagious.

Ahhhh, meal planning.  Some people hear the word and get excited about how convenient it can be.  Others (like me) internally cringe as we SCOUR through Pinterest and get overwhelmed by the MILLIONS of recipes that are available to try out.

Veil or no veil?

The age old question in this new decade, where we are breaking away from old traditions and incorporating more of OURSELVES into our wedding day.  About 50% of the brides I photograph wear veils on their wedding day - so there is a big move into the no veil movement!

What a STUNNING WINTER WEDDING!!! I got to finish off my 2019 with Josh and Laura back in Illinois at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club, and it was a day to remember :) These two are so in love with Jesus and each other; I couldn’t stop smiling the entire day! Each piece of their wedding was so unique and special to them, including all of Laura’s attire (butterfly Keds, a flower crown, and a CAPE!!!!)!!! Nothing compared, however, to how much joy these two had surrounded by all of their friends and family. I think the pictures speak to how the day felt - so check them out below!!!
